THR’s Live Feed is reporting that Vinnie Jones as been upped to series regular on The Cape.
In the pilot, Jones played “Scales,” described as “a frightening man with a freakish skin condition that gives him the appearance of green and gold scales.” Originally it was just a guest role.

I hope to enjoy this new series but am already troubled. Unless ‘Scales’ turns from a bad guy to a good guy, this is looking like fighting the same bad guys every week. Not good. Also, I worry about having a kid become the focal point of the series, certain death for sure. So many series start out with 2 or 3 good episodes only to become repetitive and in a rut. We shall see what we shall see.
