Here are some spoilers for upcoming episodes of The Cape. The show premieres on Jan. 9 and quickly falls into its regular timeslot.

Episodes #1.1 & #1.2: “Pilot” & “Tarot” (Jan. 10)
- Two episodes air on January 9 and are re-aired on January 10, making for a long “pilot movie.”

Here are some details about “Tarot” that I don’t think would ruin anything by sharing:

I’ll probably be posting a review of this shortly, but here are some things that I don’t think ruin anything about the episode, but are interesting just the same…

- The Cape gets his mask!
- People have differing reactions to The Cape’s name.
- Orwell’s really sweet car is seen more.
- Chess has some really advanced technology.
- Cain has a very interesting tattoo

Episode #1.3: “Kozmo” (January 17)
- From Thomas Wheeler: “In Episode 4 we learn a lot more about Max Malini and the sometimes bloody history of the cape.”
NBC’s Official Description: A FORMER ALLY THREATENS MAX MALINI AND HIS CREW, WHILE DANA FINDS OUT THERE WERE WITNESSES TO VINCE’S DISAPPEARANCE — When Gregor Molotov (guest star Thomas Kretschmann), an old friend of Max Malini (Keith David), comes to town in search of who is in possession of the cape, Vince (David Lyons) must fight to save the people who took him in. Meanwhile, Dana (Jennifer Ferrin) is back to work in the public defender’s office, where she encounters Palm City’s corruption first hand. Peter Fleming (James Frain) and Marty Voyt (Dorian Missick) continue their tireless pursuit to find out Orwell’s (Summer Glau) true identity.

Episode #1.?: “Bluebeard” (Air Date Unknown)
- From Thomas Wheeler, the episode “sort of takes the themes of the pilot to a much deeper, richer place and delivers our newest rogue Bluebeard.”

Episode #1.?: “The Lich”
- From Thomas Wheeler, this episode is “a creepy treasure hunt that unearths a number of Palm City secrets. We’ll also get a glimpse into the origin of a major upcoming villain…The Lich.”
